An assistant on the restaurant's tablet to answer crew members during service

Owl is the Hatch OS agent installed on the restaurant's tablet: crew members ask their question by voice or in writing and get the answer drawn from your sheets, without leaving their station or digging through a binder.

Mid-service, no one goes looking for a recipe card.

The binder is in the office, the Drive isn't open, and the question ends up with the manager, when they're around.

What Owl does for you

  • It runs in kiosk mode on a shared tablet: the screen stays on Owl, nothing else.
  • It understands voice: crew members dictate their question, hands full or not.
  • It answers from your documents, the same ones Peep and Jay use.
  • It adapts to the restaurant: one profile per tablet, and tags that set what each location sees (format, menu, region).

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Owl and Peep?

Peep answers on WhatsApp, on each person's phone. Owl is on the restaurant's shared tablet, for those who do not have their phone during service.

Can you ask a question by voice?

Yes, Owl understands voice dictation.

Does every restaurant see the same information?

Not if you do not want it to: tags adapt the answers to the restaurant's format or menu.
